The Cochin Shipyard Ltd. (Cochin) has endorsed the competence and had given an approval of performance to Antison Engineering for the services in connection with building grain hatches and escape hatches for ships ‘Rani Padmini’and ‘Rathna Deep’ in 1982. M/s PHB Monteurbricht (Germany) has given their approval for the performance of Antison Engineering in 1978 for the works of the 150 ton Gantry Crain in Cochin Shipyard Ltd. as a sub contractor to M/s Chitram and Co. Ltd., (Chennai), who also have expressed their appreciation. Antison Engineering also undertook the production of jigs and fixtures for the container fabrication unit for M/s Balmer Lawrie and Co. Ltd. (Cochin) and earned their approval. The firm has done penstock fabrication for M/s Giovanola Binny Ltd., and had supplied machines for the welding flux manufacturing for M/s Binny Ltd. The firm has also done servicing and repairing activities for M/s Aspinwall and Co. Ltd., Kochi.
In 2004, Mr. V. A. Augustine (Director of Antison Engineering) was nominated for the Bharat Gaurav Award by the council of National Development, New Delhi, for the leading industrialist.
